Wheather Laura Bernard is painting a still-life, landscape, or portrait, her expert use of line, color and form dramatically captures the image and instills the viewer with a sense of serenity and wonder. Her selections from broad and various subjects using three-dimensional models and photographs are beautifully interpreted onto canvas, primarily using oil paints.
A Chicago native, Laura currently lives in Buffalo Grove, Illinois with her husband, Jim.
Her paintings can be seen in numerous private and corporate collections. She has exhibited in the Elk Grove Artist’s Association Juried Art Show and has been awarded an Award of Excellence in 2014 and 2015.
