I went to school to be a commercial artist, but took a curve in the road and became a decorating contractor. I worked in that trade for my
entire working career, always striving to inject my love of art into my work. Over the years I worked on a number of David Adler homes, the “Home Alone” house, as well as the Crabtree Farms Estate in Lake Bluff, employing faux finishing techniques, wood restoration and refinishing — as well as some tromp L’oeil.
After I retired, I have just recently returned to one of my original passions – oil painting. I feel like I have come home again. I am happy
to be able to exhibit my work here at the Barrington Cultural Arts Center for your enjoyment.
